What this covers
Leafin shows book covers and details so you can recognise a book. Most come from Open Library. Some are in files we publish on leafin.app: the curated collections, corrections to book details, the books popular in each genre, and any cover we keep there. Leafin does not claim to own any of them.
How to ask
Write to support@leafin.app with:
- the work, and where Leafin shows it: the book’s title and author, or the leafin.app address;
- your name and how to reach you;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, their agent or the law;
- a statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the work or may act for its owner;
- your signature (a typed name is fine).
What we do
Within 5 business days of a complete notice, we remove the image or detail from leafin.app and from the files the app downloads, so Leafin no longer shows it when a book is added or its cover is looked for. A cover that came from Open Library also stays on Open Library’s own site; we tell you how to ask them. Either way, we write back to say what we did.
If we got it wrong
If something was removed by mistake, write to the same address saying what it was and why, with your contact details and signature. We pass it on to whoever sent the notice.
